In February 2026, Thames Distribution started the exciting warehouse move to our own dedicated warehouse unit in Marston Green, Birmingham, UK. This move marks a historic moment for us, relocating our distribution base from shared warehousing in Essex to a much larger site that is logistically placed – at walking distance to the NEC and at the perimeter of Birmingham Airport – to serve our business, brands and customers better.
The strategic location chosen for our new warehousing will mean swifter deliveries and distribution, as well as improved storage and accessibility of goods. Importantly, it will give us more control, visibility and autonomy to enable a more efficient distribution process. The new warehouse, boasting generous dimensions, allows us to house all our existing brands, while leaving plenty of space for future brand partnership products to be stored.
The move has been orchestrated by Operations Manager, Paul McDaid, who is organising and overseeing the complicated process of packing and loading brand goods, transportation, unloading and the new storage organisation set up; the relocation will be complete by early May 2026.
This new warehouse also represents the impressive growth that Thames Distribution has achieved in recent years, expanding the business working alongside brands and products that are innovative, relevant to today’s discerning customers and offer smart solutions, whilst saving money and supporting the planet.
